Does your child want to grow up to be just like Mommy or Daddy and work as a healthcare professional?  Would you like to inspire your child to work in a healthcare field?  If either of these statements rings true for you or someone you know, then this is the Christmas gift guide for you.  The following are great gift ideas meant to inspire children to become a healthcare professional (We’ve even included links to places where these awesome gifts can be found).

Scrubs.  Imagine how excited little Jimmy or Suzie would be if Santa left them a pair of personalized scrubs under the tree this year.  You and I both know that you have fielded questions about your “uniform” that looks like pajamas from your inquisitive kids.  Now is your chance to get them their own set of scrubs!

X-ray Socks.  Let’s face it, you are already planning on getting your child a pair or two of socks this holiday season.  In fact, almost every child in America will probably find at least one pair of socks in their stocking, so why not a really cool pair of x-ray socks.  These socks not only look awesome but will show your children what the bones in their feet really look like.

First Aid Training Ball.  Imagine finding the perfect gift to help your child develop hand-eye coordination at the same time as learn something about CPR and First Aid.  Check out the Clever Catch CPR First Aid Training Ball and you will accomplish the impossible.  A fun way to play and interact with your child without worrying about breaking a lamp, just don’t let Fido pop it!

Squishy Brains and Other Neat Stuff.  How about getting your child an anatomically correct brain puzzle?  It feels squishy and it is fun!  If they are really into anatomy, then you might consider an Eyeball model or a Disgusting Anatomy Heart.  Both are very realistic and are sure to be a hit with your kid’s and their friends.

Doc McStuffins.  If your child is like mine, then they are probably already hooked on Disney’s Doc McStuffins.  A perfect gift idea for the would-be medical professional is the Doc McStuffins Get Better Check-up Table.  Great for developing imagination and it features all of the medical accessories they need to help their teddy bear heal up quickly.

Let’s face it, you already know that being a healthcare professional is one of the greatest careers anyone can aspire to.  Sharing the love you have for your career choice with your kids may inspire them to make a similar choice for their future.  And, even if they aren’t keen on becoming a nurse, doctor, therapist, or other medical professional, that is okay too.  We all have our chosen paths in life and finding the right one is a blessing.  And one final piece of valuable information…Hurry up and finish your shopping, it’s already mid-December!!!!
