Austin, Texas – If you are looking for your perfect Cowboy or Cowgirl, check out this Tex-Mex powerhouse, annually listed on a variety of “Best Cities” lists.  Austin features more than just a country – western vibe as evidenced by the number of large rock and folk music festivals that roll through every year.  Citizens in Austin earn strong wages and enjoy reasonable cost of living expenses.  Foodies flock to Austin for the eclectic dining options from barbecue to fusion, so there is never a shortage of date night dinner options.

Santa Barbara, California – What can be more romantic than a long walk on the beach with blue skies above and the waves gently lapping at your feet?  Overall, Santa Barbara has a higher than average cost of living, but it also boasts a large pool of eligible dating candidates.  More than 52% of adults are unmarried, and there are more than 720 restaurants, bars, nightclubs and breweries in the metro area.  If you ever get tired of the beach, you can explore the nearby wine country or enjoy a long hike or bike ride on one of the many mountain trails.
